When I started this blog properly in late 2011, I had only ever taken part in Race for Life 5k runs a couple of times. I had the intention of training myself to run a half marathon (Silverstone) and London Marathon in 2012. I didn’t get a place for London, so I entered myself into Edinburgh Marathon and carried on training with the intention of just running a few miles twice a week once I’d cross the finish line.
Fast forward to present day and I have
seven lots of medals in my possession and still eating chocolate, but now training to be a Personal Trainer and running with Run Dem Crew, Run Dem Crew West as well as taking out some badass folks on a Sunday for a long run and a spot of yoga.
Running has been an extremely positive influence in my health and well being and have opened the door to enabling me to helping others realise that for themselves.
I am running London Marathon in April 2014 just before my birthday and am again raising money for the MS Society.
